In the future era, people's lives and work will be unified, and they will be controlled by blue chips installed on their heads. In this homogenized world,
people have lost their uniqueness and lack independent choice, becoming a
part of human collective consciousness.
However, the truth of the world is far more complex than they know. On the
other side of the sky, there is another layer hidden, with each layer of the
world connected by tall towers. In each layer, people's vision is limited, unaware of the existence of the upper layers and their status as being monitored.
The protagonist Mark was originally a member of the lower class, but due to an unexpected bug, he gradually broke free from the control of the chip and was seen by others as an alien being expelled from the original world. In the process of escaping, it unexpectedly reached a higher level. Just as he thought he had gained redemption and hope, he discovered the structure of the entire world. This layered world seems to have no end, even if he climbs up to a higher level, he is still under control and cannot truly break free from control.
